What He Says, He Will Surely Do
There are moments in life when we all need a quiet yet firm reminder of the unshakable certainty of God’s promises. Unlike man, who is prone to change and limited by weakness, God is ever faithful, unchanging in His nature, and unwavering in His Word. What He declares, He accomplishes. What He promises, He fulfills — without fail.
The Scriptures remind us powerfully:
- “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” — Numbers 23:19 (NKJV)
- “The Strength of Israel will not lie nor relent. For He is not a man, that He should relent.” — 1 Samuel 15:29 (NKJV)
There have been times when I felt broken, overwhelmed by uncertainty, and without words to encourage even those closest to me. But in those very moments, His Word became my anchor — it strengthened me.
Take heart today: if God has spoken a promise over your life, He will bring it to fulfillment. His Word is trustworthy, His plans are unshakable, and His timing is perfect. Trust in Him — for He who promised is faithful.
Greetings in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
With humble means and small efforts, we strive to bring glory and honor to His name. Our hearts are deeply grateful for the intercessions and prayers lifted on our behalf, and the gifts and offerings that continue to strengthen our hands in the Lord’s work. In this spirit of fellowship and stewardship, I write to share significant ministry updates and pressing prayer needs. As we step forward in faith into the next six months of 2025, we sincerely seek your continued prayers and, as the Lord leads, your generous financial partnership.
1. SOZO Team Training
We’re praying and planning to begin the Sozo Team Training soon after we’re back to Hyderabad.
2. Digital Outreach: Expanding Reach through WhatsApp Devotionals
The WhatsApp-based devotional ministry has seen significant growth in both reach and spiritual impact. Currently, thousands of individuals receive daily gospel-centered messages in English, Hindi, Telugu and numbers continue to grow every day. The devotionals have not only served as a source of daily encouragement but have also led to numerous testimonies of personal transformation, emotional healing, and the rekindling of faith among recipients. A particularly notable development is the marked increase in prayer requests—many of which come from persecuted believers and Christian fellowships in the northern belt of India. These regions, often characterized by socio-political and religious challenges, are now witnessing renewed spiritual hunger and resilience.
This growing digital outreach continues to affirm the relevance of contextual, language-inclusive ministry efforts in nurturing and sustaining faith communities across geographical and cultural boundaries.
3. Mother's Health and Ongoing Treatment
By God’s grace and through the steadfast prayers and generous support of many well-wishers, my beloved mother, Mrs. Kaki Vijaya Sree, has successfully completed the full course of her prescribed cancer treatment at Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore. This included six intensive cycles of chemotherapy, twenty-five fractions of external beam radiation therapy, and three sessions of internal (brachy) radiation. Despite the physically demanding nature of this treatment regimen, she endured the process with remarkable resilience and without any major medical complications, a testimony to her enduring faith and God’s sustaining strength.
The multidisciplinary oncology team at CMC has expressed satisfaction with her response to the treatment, confirming that the active phase of cancer therapy has been completed. She is now in stable condition and remains strong, managing minor post-treatment health challenges with grace and courage. As part of her long-term care plan, she will continue to undergo regular surveillance through scheduled follow-ups to monitor her recovery and ensure early detection of any recurrence.
Looking ahead, she is scheduled for thyroid surgery on September 9th, as part of a separate but necessary medical intervention. In addition, her first post-treatment oncology follow-up, including a CT scan, is planned for October, which will be conducted under the supervision of the CMC oncology department.
4. Joy in the Midst of Trials:
We were blessed to celebrate Daddy’s 85th birthday on July 1st. It is a deep joy to witness him delight daily in the Lord’s presence—singing hymns, worship songs, and immersing himself in Scripture. Please continue to pray for his health and that his life remains a source of blessing to others.
5. Missionary Associates; Field Updates
Pastor P.C from Sonebhadra, Uttar Pradesh, was involved in an accident along with his wife while returning from the mission field. Sister T.C. sustained a fracture in her hand, while Pastor P.C. suffered a severe and painful injury to his chest. Unfortunately, due to the lack of adequate medical facilities in their area, they were unable to receive immediate care, and first aid was administered only two days after the incident. They are currently recuperating at their son's residence and are under medication. Kindly uphold them in your prayers for a full and swift recovery.
Pastor M.K, serving faithfully in Mahasamund, Chhattisgarh, continues to provide steadfast spiritual leadership and pastoral care across eight growing fellowship locations. His consistent efforts are focused on nurturing these congregations in both the Word of God and authentic worship. Through weekly teaching, he emphasizes discipleship and spiritual formation, ensuring that each gathering matures in biblical understanding and heartfelt praise.
Recently, the Vacation Bible School (VBS) organized under his guidance concluded successfully, marking a significant milestone by enrolling a new group of young children into the local fellowships. These children have shown great enthusiasm in participating in worship, especially in music and singing. Pastor M.K. personally invests time each week to teach them songs of praise and basic musical skills, cultivating a joyful and spiritually enriching environment for the next generation of believers.
Sister P.S from Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, continues to steadily recover from the injuries sustained in her recent scooter accident. By God's sustaining grace, she has resumed visiting believers in their homes and has faithfully recommenced leading Sunday worship services. Her unwavering commitment to the call of ministry is both inspiring and deeply encouraging. A group of young women from her fellowship, who have caught the same spirit of service and evangelistic zeal, actively accompany and support her in the ongoing outreach and discipleship efforts. However, one pressing concern that remains close to Sister P.S.'s heart is the urgent need to roof their humble meeting place. Despite their limited means, she continues to lift this need before the Lord in prayer, trusting in His provision for a shelter that would serve as a stable and secure space for worship, teaching, and fellowship.
Pastor J.M, serving faithfully in Batote, Jammu and Kashmir, continues to face intense opposition from local religious extremists. Due to threats and persistent hostility, he has been compelled to remain away from several villages—particularly those where young believers reside—restricting his ability to minister and offer pastoral care in person. Despite these challenges, a few individuals who were previously coerced into returning to their former faith traditions still maintain secret contact with Pastor J.M., seeking spiritual encouragement and guidance. The environment remains deeply challenging, with heightened pressure on new converts and ongoing risks to the safety of Christian workers in the region. Although a ceasefire has recently brought an end to the armed conflict in the area, and signs of normalcy are gradually returning, the situation on the ground for Christian ministry remains grim. Pastor J.M. and his family continue to endure spiritual, emotional, and physical trials and are in great need of earnest prayer and support from the body of Christ.
Pastor SM, serving faithfully in Gaya, Bihar, continues to strengthen numerous small groups of believers across surrounding villages through weekly fasting and prayer. Despite the predominantly uneducated backgrounds of the villagers, their deepening faith—nurtured through regular teaching of the Word in small group settings and the use of audio Bibles—has led to a significant increase in participation, especially among women. The singing of worship songs in local languages further enriches the spiritual atmosphere within these gatherings. Please continue to uphold the growth and impact of this village ministry in your prayers.
Cancer Patient Assistance Update
We had the opportunity to serve a family member in need when my wife’s aunt was brought to Christian Medical College (CMC) in critical condition. She was diagnosed with obstructive jaundice and severe blood infections. Following a thorough evaluation, she underwent an endoscopic surgical procedure, during which a stent was placed in her duodenum to alleviate the blockage.
Her hospitalization lasted 16 days, during which she received intensive medical care and treatment. This challenging season allowed us to stand with her and her family in prayer and service, offering practical support during her time of great need.
